If you work with one or more boards of directors of nonprofit organizations located within a 60-mile radius of Wichita Falls, WE NEED YOU to be an advocate for our board training program. This volunteer opportunity is easy! All you have to do is inquire of the board members if they would like to receive further training on their roles and responsibilities. The Nonprofit Center will provide the training at the nonprofit agency's site at no charge, thanks to a grant to the Nonprofit Center from The Priddy Foundation. Trainings normally last one hour (or longer if needed) and are provided by the Executive Director of the Nonprofit Center. About the trainer: Dee Decker, Executive Director, has served at the helm of the Nonprofit Center since its inception in 1991. She has extensive nonprofit board training and consulting experience and serves on several nonprofit boards in the Texoma area. Trainings are arranged on a first-call, first-scheduled basis.
